Washer & Gas Dryer Installation (Side‑by‑Side, Pedestal, or Stack Configuration)

What’s Included

• Review of installation details with the customer before work begins
• Unboxing and inspection of the washer and gas dryer for visible damage
• Removal of shipping materials, including drum supports or shipping bolts where applicable
• Disconnecting existing appliances (if replacing an existing set)
• Positioning the washer and dryer based on the selected configuration
• Stacking units or installing on pedestals using manufacturer‑approved hardware, where applicable. Required stacking kits and pedestals must be supplied by the customer and be compatible with the appliance models being installed.
• Leveling the washer and ensuring proper alignment of both units
• Connecting the washer to existing hot and cold water supply lines and drain
• Supplying and installing a standard flexible gas connector (up to 4 ft) where compatible and permitted
• Connecting the gas dryer to the existing gas supply and electrical connection
• Connecting dryer venting to existing exhaust ducting (one standard vent connection)
• Performing gas leak testing on all gas connections
• Installation of anti‑tip bracket if supplied with the appliance and/or required by the manufacturer
• Ensuring both appliances are properly grounded
• Testing full operation, including wash cycles, dryer ignition and heating, controls, and basic functionality
• Final cleanup of the immediate work area, including breaking down installation packaging and placing materials aside for customer disposal

What’s Not Included

• Disposal of old appliances or packaging
• Pick‑up or delivery of appliances
• Supply of washer hoses, stacking kits, pedestals, or dryer venting materials
• Supply or installation of new water or gas shut‑off valves
• Gas line modifications, extensions, or relocations
• Electrical upgrades, circuit changes, or running new wiring
• Venting modifications, extensions, or side‑vent conversions
• Cabinetry modifications, structural changes, or reinforcement
• Conversions between natural gas and propane
• Installation where existing plumbing, gas, electrical, or venting is not code‑compliant

This service covers installation only using existing plumbing, gas supply, electrical connections, venting, and appliance location. Any additional labour, gas line work, plumbing changes, electrical upgrades, venting modifications, or structural changes may require additional charges or a separate appointment. Pre‑existing conditions, such as gas leaks, damaged connections, insufficient electrical supply, improper venting, clearance issues, or code‑compliance concerns, may prevent installation from being completed. We reserve the right to decline or stop service if safety, accessibility, or compliance issues are identified.
