Fridge Waterline Connection / Ice Maker Installation

What’s Included

• Review of installation details and site conditions with the customer before work begins
• Verification that an existing, accessible, and functional water supply line and shut‑off valve are present and suitable for connection
• Unboxing and inspection of the refrigerator connection components (if applicable) for visible damage
• Shutting off water supply and disconnecting any existing appliance connection, where applicable
• Connecting the refrigerator waterline and/or icemaker kit to the existing water supply
• Securing all tubing and fittings in accordance with manufacturer specifications and applicable plumbing standards
• Turning on the water supply and performing leak testing on all connections
• Purging air from the system and activating water/ice functions as applicable
• Ensuring the refrigerator is repositioned and aligned within the installation space
• Verifying proper operation of the water dispenser and/or ice maker
• Final cleanup of the immediate work area, including breaking down installation packaging and placing materials aside for customer disposal

What’s Not Included

• Installation of a new waterline or running waterlines through walls, ceilings, or cabinetry
• Supply or installation of a new water shut‑off valve
• Plumbing modifications, relocations, or extensions beyond the existing connection point
• Installation of icemaker kits or components not provided with the appliance
• Electrical work or relocation of outlets
• Cabinetry modifications, structural changes, or access modifications
• Installation where existing plumbing is not accessible or not code‑compliant
• Disposal of packaging, old appliances, or debris

If a waterline or shut‑off valve is not present, improperly installed, or not code‑compliant, installation may not proceed and additional work or a separate service may be required. All work is subject to site conditions, manufacturer requirements, and applicable plumbing standards, and service may be declined if conditions are deemed unsafe or unsuitable.
