This service ensures proper removal, secure mounting, connection to existing electrical supply, and full operational testing so your cooktop functions exactly as intended.

What’s Included

• Review of installation details with the customer before work begins
• Unboxing and inspection of the new electric cooktop for visible damage
• Disconnecting and removing the existing cooktop
• Verifying the existing countertop cut‑out and cabinet opening are suitable for the replacement unit, with no modifications required
• Checking manufacturer clearance requirements to combustibles and surrounding surfaces
• Installing the new electric cooktop into the existing cut‑out according to manufacturer specifications
• Securing the cooktop using manufacturer‑approved mounting hardware
• Reconnecting to the existing electrical supply in compliance with applicable codes
• Ensuring the appliance is properly grounded
• Testing full operation of all heating elements and controls
• Final cleanup of the immediate work area, including breaking down installation packaging and placing materials aside for customer disposal

• Disposal of old appliances or packaging
• Pick‑up or delivery of the appliance
• Electrical upgrades, circuit changes, or running new wiring
• Cabinetry modifications, countertop alterations, or resizing of cut‑outs
• Structural changes or reinforcement
• Installation where existing electrical supply is incompatible or not code‑compliant

Important Disclaimer

This service covers replacement installation only using the existing countertop opening, cabinetry, and electrical supply. Any additional labour, electrical work, countertop modifications, or structural changes may require additional charges or a separate appointment. Pre‑existing conditions, such as insufficient clearances, damaged wiring, non‑compliant electrical supply, or incompatible cut‑out sizing, may prevent installation from being completed. We reserve the right to decline or stop service if safety, accessibility, or code‑compliance issues are identified.

Optional Add‑On Services

Where applicable, optional add‑on services such as disposal of the old appliance and/or pick‑up and delivery from the local store may be available for this service. Eligible add‑ons, if offered for your specific appliance and location, will be presented during checkout. Add‑on services must be purchased at the same time as the installation and cannot be sold separately.
